Ir. Liang Hian Ching
Ir. Liang has well over 35 years experience in the design, construction and management of building, airport and infrastructure projects. His illustrious career began in a consulting firm in 1969 when he joined the Public Works Department (PWD) Malaysia and assumed the post of Assistant District Engineer of Johor Bahru, District Engineer of Kota Tinggi and Raub. He has also held positions as Project Engineer, Head of Road Section (HQ) and lastly as Deputy Director of Structure and Special Works Division (HQ).
In 1992, Ir. Liang joined KLIA Berhad as Director of Engineering responsible for feasibility study, EIA study and master plan, design and preparation of tender documents for most of the work packages under the KLIA project. Later (1995), he was appointed as Senior Construction General Manager to manage the detailed design and construction of the passenger terminal buildings and other related works of the airport project.
Ir. Liang continues his career at KLIA Consult after KLIA Project. As senior member of the Management Team, he is involved in the formation and implementation of company policies, project management systems and procedures to ensure that the company is ever responsive to the client’s need under consistent and transparent management processes.
He also actively involved in all the project undertaken by the company to ensure all the projects achieve beyond stake holder’s expectation.
