Ir. Mohd Hanaffi
Ir. Mohd Hanaffi Ayop has vast experience in the implementation of government projects. Starting his career as Project Engineer in the Public Works Department in Penang, he was later made responsible to plan, design, co-ordinate and manage various government projects in some of the states in Peninsular Malaysia.
Among the major projects he was involved in were constructions of new schools in Negeri Sembilan, development of the new campus for University Technology Malaysia in Skudai, installation of rural water supply programme in Melaka and re-construction of Sungai Kerian Bridge in Penang. He was made to take charge of the road development and maintenance programme for the whole state of Penang. For his dedicated work in Penang state, he was awarded the PJK medal by the State Government.
To acknowledge his contractions and capabilities, Ir. Mohd Hanaffi was then promoted to head the Construction Planning and Quality Assurance Unit as Construction General Manager at KLIA. His tasks include setting up effective and workable quality system, managing and ensuring the project is implemented in accordance with the time schedule and strict compliance with quality standards.
The success of the KLIA project is testimony of his dedication and commitment towards the achievement of targeted and shared goals. Exposure to the implementation of various project management techniques with expatriation of foreign experts has equipped Ir. Mohd Hanaffi with various project management expertise.
WIth these acquired skills and acknowledge, he has been given the responsibility to manage a subsidiary company, KLIA Assosiates.
