Ir. Nazarudin Mohd. Nordin
Ir. Nazarudin Mohd Nordin has 28 years of experience in project management and implementation of various types of infrastructure projects including universities, hospitals, KL International Airport in Sepang and lately the Klang Valley Traffic Information System.
His experiences include areas pertaining to the management of professional staff and support, supervision of construction works, design audit and project management of mega engineering projects.
During the development of KLIA, Ir. Nazarudin, in his capacity as General Manager of the Engineering Department, was responsible for ensuring compliance of the KLIA Overall Masterplan Engineering Design policies and standards for all design works. He was then transferred to the site to oversee the construction management and contracts for the Main Terminal Building, Baggage Handling System (TAMS) package as Construction General Manager.
His most illustrious experience is the successful completion of the TAMS contract involving the integration of computerized system over the entire airport connecting more than 40 systems including security, passengers and public information management system. His involvement in the TAMS implementation includes managing the integration of various complex sub-systems and re-strategizing to overcome hiccups to meet the scheduled date.
His current role as the Chief Operating Officer of KLIA Consult requires him to exercise a wide range of management skills necessary to guide the company in achieving its goals and objectives.
