Started with safety and health in construction, KTRC had conducted various training programs in collaboration with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), and companies such as Gamuda Plant Operator School (GPOS), PPES (M) Sdn. Bhd., Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd, to name a few. Numerous courses was organized especially in the areas of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Management System , Site Safety Supervisor (SSS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard and Risk Assessment (HIRARC), Scaffolding, CIDB Green Card Programs, among others.
With the recent collaboration with the Business and Advance Technology Centre (BATC) of University Technology Malaysia (UTM), KTRC is offering Executive Diploma programs especially designed for the development of working professionals and sub professionals. The objective of this program is to develop candidates with skills, knowledge and competencies in various integrated disciplines. It aims at providing a well-balanced opportunity for aspiring executives and managers to advance their career, or provide a path to a new career.
The key feature of this program is the entry requirements which are based on personal capability and work experience, rather than academic qualifications. The program is a modular based program which can lead to the following awards:
